How it works
Everything is free to look at
Every profile, every introduction video, every rate. You can spend an hour deciding before you spend a penny. We think that is the only fair way to sell an introduction to a person.
Membership unlocks contact details
$4.99 a month, or $49.99 for the year. That gives you contact details for everybody on the site, not one person. If the first buddy is not right, pick another, and another. There is no extra charge and no awkwardness.
Cancel whenever you like, in one click. If you ask for a refund, you get one, and we will not ask you to justify it.
Then you two sort it out between you
You message them, agree a time, agree a price, and pay them directly. We never take a cut of your sessions and we never handle the money. That keeps their rates low and it keeps us honest: we are paid to make a good introduction, not to sit in the middle of it.
Certified trainers and exercise buddies are different, and we say which
Strength training is led only by people holding a real certification that we have checked against the certifying body. Loading a body that has been losing muscle is where someone can genuinely get hurt, so that category has a gate on it.
Everything else, walking, dancing, yoga, Pilates, rebounding, or just someone expecting you at seven in the morning, may be led by an exercise buddy without a certification. They do the class alongside you, the way you would with a friend. They do not correct your technique or plan your training, and their profile says so in plain words.
"Free right now"
Buddies switch themselves on when they are ready for a message. If they go quiet for half an hour, we switch them off automatically, because a green light with nobody behind it is worse than no green light at all.
Most of our buddies are in Mexico, the Philippines, and India. Mexico lines up with the American working day almost exactly. The Philippines and India suit early mornings and evenings. Every profile shows you what time it is where they are, so you never have to work it out.
What we are not
Nobody here is a doctor, a nurse, a dietitian, or a physical therapist, and nothing they say is medical advice. If you take a weight-loss medication, have a heart condition, get dizzy, or have been unwell, please talk to your own doctor before you start. And if anything hurts, stop.
