Our content should help someone make a practical decision without exaggerating what the directory, a buddy, or a trainer can do.

Who writes and reviews the site

Annette Thompson, the founder of Exercise Buddy Finder, writes and reviews the public guidance during the beta. Pages show an author and review date when they are editorial guides rather than service or legal pages.

Sources and health boundaries

Operational statements come from the site’s actual policies, application requirements, and product behavior. Health or safety claims use primary research or authoritative public-health and professional sources where a source is needed. Lived experience is not presented as clinical evidence.

The site does not provide personalized medical advice. Exercise buddies and fitness trainers are not presented as doctors, physical therapists, dietitians, or other healthcare professionals unless a separate, checked qualification and role genuinely applies.

Artificial intelligence

AI may help organize research, identify questions, or draft language. Annette remains responsible for checking factual claims, removing unsupported statements, and ensuring that published text matches the real service. AI-generated demo portraits are labelled fictional and are never used for real providers.

Commercial independence

Providers do not pay to be ranked and Exercise Buddy Finder does not take a commission from sessions. Payment-company comparisons are practical starting points, not endorsements or promises of current fees. Any future sponsorship or affiliate relationship will be disclosed beside the relevant content.

Research and statistics

We publish directory statistics only when the methodology, time period, sample size, exclusions, and limitations can be shown. Fictional demos are excluded. Small groups are suppressed to reduce re-identification risk and to avoid turning a handful of records into a misleading trend.

Corrections

Send a correction through Contact & Support or the suggestion button. Annette reviews the underlying source or product behavior, corrects material errors, and updates the page’s reviewed date. Legal pages keep their own update records.
